The Jimboomba State School Master Plan establishes a long-term framework to reconnect a site shaped by decades of gradual growth. The proposal improves movement, accessibility and open space while strengthening relationships between learning, recreation and community areas across the site.
Reconnecting the school through movement, landscape and a network of purposeful and playful outdoor spaces.
Concept
The masterplan is structured around a clearer pedestrian network supported by a series of distinct outdoor precincts. Plazas, nature play, recreation areas, landscaped gathering spaces and an amphitheatre create purposeful destinations along major movement routes, while improved connections restore access between the main campus and sporting facilities. Landscape and stormwater interventions further repair existing ground conditions and help transform leftover spaces into usable parts of the school environment.
